Slipper design for Ripples x ITE School of Design Media 2017. Design a style that blends in with Ripples Flipflop. With 3 concepts in mind, I've come out with Save Shark, Bandit Shiba Inu & Singapore Chili Crab.
Save Shark
Recently I’ve signed a petition on not eating shark fin. But up till now, a million sharks end up in the global shark fin trade and it’s on us to do something about it. Hence I'd like to show the adorable side of the shark to prevent consumers from eating it
Bandit Shiba Inu
Asian all-time favorite breed called “Shiba Inu” My main objective is to create a design that will attract young ladies and office women.
Singapore Chili Crab
As this is a Singapore based flipflop brand. I hope It can reach out to a wider audience by targeting tourists. I was inspired by our ”Must try” dish in Singapore “Chili Crab” With the intention to commemorate Singapore’s 52nd birthday
